June Meeting - the Society will meet at the Leeds Museum Discovery Centre http://www.leeds.gov.uk/discoverycentre/ at 2:00pm on Saturday 23rd June to view the Baron Collection. Please gather at Reception. In SCBI 21, Liz Pirie describes this collection as follows:
Recently the collection has been refreshed by YNS member Lucy Moore and constitutes one of the major collections of classical coins in the region.
July Meeting - the July meeting will be held as part of the York Stamp and Coin Fair at the York Racecourse at 2:00pm on Saturday 21st July. The meeting will be addressed by the President of the British Numismatic Society, Roger Bland, who will speak on The Impact of the Treasure Act and PAS.
There is no meeting in August.
